playing devil's advocate here; I haven't seen it yet (I tried last weekend but it was way sold out…) I am a fan and supporter (also work in the film industry, etc.) This is an important film, not so much for what it says but the fact that it is encouraging a type of discourse that is pretty much absent in this country. now having said that, we should be aware that this is an editorial, not a documentary and that it is up to everyone to be critical of it as well as what the current administration is spewing (a bunch of liars, those folk, I didn't need michael moore to tell me that.) anyway, check this out:slate.msn.com/id/2102723/

Editorial? Of 'Michael Moore the Company' ?? I agree it is not a documentary, too much inserted oppinion to call it that. It's a simple Commentary...and a good one at that !!
It's 'Daily Show: The Movie' yes but it has oppinions other than his own.
I hope people put in the effort to read between lines and see fact...see implication...see..
He's a very smart man who did a very good thing.
Let us know your thoughts when you have seen it. -

Sun, July 11, 2004 - 5:58 AMIs Fox news 'documentary' ? How about CNN , NBC, The Capital Gang?
Why am I so suprised that all of the sudden everyone seems to be rememberign Critical Thinking 101 - and WHY they hell didn't they remember those rules and tools as we were -propagandaized- (a more APT use of the word) into going to war with a country that had done NOTHING to us and behaved no differently than 8 or so other dictatorships the US does not simply ignore but SUPPORTS activiely.
????
And again a reminder about my rule for this tribe- as moderator..
PLEASE HOLD ALL COMMENTARY UNTIL YOU"VE SEEN THE FILM.
