Standing Ovation!

we were at the 7:00 show on Friday Night...TV cameras as the local news interviewed people standing in line to get in, and the entire audience gave a standing ovation that lasted over 2 minutes at the end of the film!

I'm going to post some excerpts from the Sunday paper about the local reactions to all of this...

And I'm talking about it with my friends today here at work.

A must see Movie!

I live in a small, hick town full of closed-minded people. I was pleasantly surprised to be in a full theater on Sunday morning to see the movie. My viewing also got a standing ovation and tons of out-loud cheering! Unfortunately, when I tried to tell people at work about the film, I was shunned with misinformation and ignorant remarks. I hate living here. I told everyone to see it, but to make sure to keep an open mind. Although I really liked the film, there were some instances in which it was SO biased I am afraid its influence could corrupt ignorant minds. (I guess at the very least they definitely won't vote for Bush!)

Being here in the Bible Belt, I wasn't sure what to expect or how the audience was going to be. Sure enough, though, it got a SO. Of course, there were a pair of rednecks down near the front who looked perplexed.
